Kindred support

Kindred is an iPhone app for two people who share a life. If something isn't working or you have an idea, email me at smzoloth@gmail.com. I'm Sam Zoloth, and I make it. Tell me your iPhone model, its iOS version, and what you tapped just before the problem.

What do I need?

An iPhone on iOS 18 or later for each of you, both signed in to iCloud. Kindred has no account of its own; iCloud carries everything between your phones.

How do I invite my partner?

Tap the two avatars at the top of the app to open the Us hub, then send the invite. Your partner opens the link on their iPhone and accepts it.

Something I added isn't on my partner's phone.

Check that both phones are signed in to iCloud and online. Changes usually arrive within seconds. The Us hub shows whether sync is healthy and names any error.

I deleted something by mistake.

Open the Us hub and tap Recently deleted. Anything deleted in the last 30 days can be brought back.

How do I stop sharing?

If you were invited, open the Us hub and tap Leave your partner's lists, then choose whether to keep a copy of your lists in your own iCloud. The person who started the lists keeps everything. If you started them, open the Us hub, tap Manage sharing, then Stop Sharing.

How Kindred handles your data is in the privacy policy.
